More About the Brian Boru Pub in Severna Park, Maryland:

Brian Boru opened in 2007, as the third of our sister restaurants; Killarney House and Galway Bay in Annapolis, and now our waterfront concept Pirate’s Cove. We worked to design an authentic Irish Pub with wood finishes throughout the restaurant milled in Ireland, and transported here for assembly including the Liscanner stone floor in the foyer and dining area. It was the owner’s intention and attention to detail, to bring a piece of home to Severna Park and share with our guests, so that they can share in true Irish hospitality. Our mission is to bring truly Irish hospitality to the communities in which we operate and to be authentically Irish in every sense and create a memorable experience in food, beverage, and service.

If this is your first time here, try our famous Fish and Chips, in house first cut corned beef, and one of a kind Shepherd’s pie, or the more traditional Irish dishes. Our Chef Preston Gunther, takes great pride in creating dishes that are authentic, with current twists on the old favorites. He sources local ingredients, including seasonal produce and local seafood. If you are not sure, please ask for suggestions on menu offerings. Our bar features the of course the traditional Irish whiskey, pair it with a perfect pint, or a hand shaken martini, or a sample with our beer flights. You'll find the very best in Irish food and drink with helpful, friendly, staff all waiting to make your visit special. As an all green concept, we recycle, and whenever possible use biodegradable products as well as reclaim oyster shells for the Chesapeake Bay restoration project. We also pride ourselves on giving back to the community with outreach and support local fundraising efforts unlike any other concepts We do our best to be good stewards of the planet and our community by donating food and cash support via fundraising dinners and offsite tastings to charitable events. We think it is important to support our neighbors in need regularly.
